Gil Aldad
Founder
Gil Aldad was born in Tel Aviv and came to the US at the age of 5. Post Law School, he followed his passion for events and became a multi-award-winning event producer for 25 years.
With a wealth of knowledge of the industry, which began at 16 with
JewishDJ.com, Gil has experience with the entire gamut of event production, including catering, creating memorable Jewish Weddings, and Bar/Bat Mitzvah celebrations.
Proud parent of five children attending Schechter School of Long Island and married to a HANC graduate, he is well versed in both the Sephardic and Ashkenaz Jewish culture, foods, and customs.
Alisha Purcell
Event Manager
Alisha Purcell is a New York native. Starting with a love for the theater, Alisha pursued a career in the entertainment industry. Graduating from Full Sail University with a bachelor's degree in Show Production and a Master's in Entertainment Business, Shelter Rock Caterers was a perfect fit for her expertise and background. Alisha has over ten years of experience in on-site production, event management, and senior office management. Over the last five years, Alisha turned her expertise towards supporting celebratory events within the Jewish community. Her meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and dedication to problem-solving has made her an essential member of our Shelter Rock Caterers Team.
